NEW YORK, NY– (March 11, 2011) — Graffiti6 have stirred up the music scene both in the United States and the UK with their vintage soul influences, love for guitar-God Hendrix and funk and pop-infused tunes in 2010. Graffiti6 is comprised of two successful independent musicians Jaime Scott (Jamie Scott & The Town) and Writer/Producer/DJ TommyD (Kanye West, Jay-Z, Kylie Minogue). The combination of the two musical minds has shown to be a great success and promises to lead to an explosive 2011 for the London-based duo, with tons of support from MTV & VH1 Networks across the board!

Most recently, Graffiti6 was named MTV PUSH ARTIST OF THE WEEK (http://push.mtv.com/) on March 7th and the week prior (February 28th) they  claimed the winning spot on mtvU’s  “Freshmen 5: Must-Hear Bands For Spring”  (http://www.mtvu.com/the-freshmen/).  They’ve recently appeared on mtvU’s Backstage Pass, mtvU Dean’s List, hosting MTV2’s Subterranean and Logo’s NewNowNext and appearing on MTV’s Ten On Top March 5. In December 2010, Graffiti6 was named to MTV’s ‘2011 ARTIST TO WATCH’ list! This new artist campaign gave the video featured placement and rotation on MTV, AMTV, MTV2, mtvU, and MTV Hits.

Most recently, three tracks were licensed on Vh1’s hit reality shows Basketball Wives and Football Wives with substantial single increases after the airings.   Their tracks have been adopted by many popular television series,  with “Stare Into the Sun” recently featured in a spot on this season’s premiere episode of Grey’s Anatomy, “Calm the Storm” on CSI NY, and “Stare Into the Sun” again featured in Victoria’s Secret CBS annual fashion special. Abroad, “Annie You Save Me” was featured on Covert Affairs.
