PRIMAL FEAR RELEASES NEW VIDEO :::: NEW ALBUM “UNBREAKABLE” IN STORES JANUARY 24th IN NORTH AMERICA ON FRONTIERS RECORDS

German power metal legends PRIMAL FEAR are gearing up for the release of their new album “Unbreakable” this January. Recently the band shot a video in Nurnberg, Germany for the song “Bad Guys Wear Black”. Today the video is being premiered on Frontiers’ Records official YouTube Channel. Watch it HERE.

“Unbreakable” combines the skills of the strongest PRIMAL FEAR line-up ever, with a well-balanced “back to the roots” vibe and an ambitious learning process that took place during their longest tour so far. Classic and ultra-fresh PRIMAL FEAR riff-rockers like “Strike”, “Give Em Hell” or the high speed track “And There Was Silence” will hit the bulls-eye, like the rhythm paced metal anthem, first single and new video clip “Bad Guys Wear Black”. Less experiments, more rock! But there will be a nine-minute epic journey with prog approach named “Where Angels Die”, a classic wonderful ballad “Born Again” and the melodic power bomb “Metal Nation”. Singer Ralf Scheepers adds: “the plan was to record an album for the fans with rough metal riffs, screaming vocals and good melodies …… and finally it became a monster – a tough ‘bang-your-head’ metal album called “Unbreakable“.

HARRIET TO RELEASE DEBUT EP TELL THE RIGHT STORY ON JANUARY 31, 2012

November 30, 2011 – Los Angeles, CA – Harriet, a new Los Angeles-based band fronted by former Dawes member Alex Casnoff, today announced the details of their debut EP, titled Tell The Right Story, which will be self-released on January 31, 2012. Inspired largely by classic storytelling and the spectacle of the movies, Tell The Right Story weaves eerily romantic ballads with unwavering anthems, and features classic elements of Americana and folk music contrasted with futuristic electronic samples and beats.

“I wanted it to feel big… cinematic. I wanted every song to be a movie, ” said Casnoff. “I wanted it to feel like an occasion. I wanted it to feel like a wedding.”

Casnoff was formerly a member of notable Los Angeles bands Dawes and PAPA, bands both named after grandfathers. In flipping the tradition, Casnoff decided to name the band after his grandmother, Harriet. After touring the country for years with his prior bands and with a growing arsenal of his own songs, Casnoff stepped into the studio in June 2011, armed with his nicest suit and a bottle of fine tequila, to record what would become Tell The Right Story. The result is a striking collection of songs that draw on the influence of classic American singer-songwriters, film, electronic music, and Casnoff’s experience as a touring musician.

“I may have seen every gas station in the country, but the America I feel indebted to is not in the past, at least not that far. I am a product of my time. We make music about the retro-future. Music about coping. Anti motivational motivational music.”

Harriet is Alex Casnoff, Aaron Folb (bass), Henry Kwapis (drums), and Adam Gunther (guitar). Tell The Right Story was produced by Sean O’Brien and recorded in Los Angeles and Sacramento. Live dates will be announced shortly.

Chicago alternative hard rock trio CHEVELLE is getting ready to release their sixth album HATS OFF TO THE BULL, Tuesday, December 6 via Epic Records. In anticipation of the LP, CHEVELLE—PETE LOEFFLER (Guitars, Vocals), SAM LOEFFLER (Drums) and DEAN BERNARDINI (Bass, Vocals)–has announced a new string of dates, including a couple high-profile radio shows (dates listed below). Before kicking off their fall trek, the group will perform two special “Project: Occupy Chevelle” gigs; the first in their hometown of Chicago on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at Subterranean and the second in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at the Rock and Roll Hotel.

On Thursday, Dec. 8 CHEVELLE will perform live on ABC TV’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” (12 ET/PT/11pmCT). On Saturday, Dec. 10 the group will join Blink-182, Incubus, Bush, Social Distortion, New Found Glory, 311 and Young the Giant for the sold-out 22^nd annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas show. As soon as the explosive track hit airwaves, it became the #1 most added record at Active and Alternative Rock radio, a testament to the band’s songwriting prowess and eternal knack for a hit.
