October 8, 2013 – (Burbank, CA) – New York City’s very own SKATERS have announced that their upcoming debut album will be released by Warner Bros. Records on February 25, 2014 in the U.S. and February 24, 2014, in the U.K. The album’s first vinyl single is “Deadbolt,” and will be released digitally on Oct 29^th, and pressed on glorious 7″ vinyl and available for sale on Black Friday / Record Store Day, Nov 29^th. The single has already been released in the U.K. (its first public broadcast was Oct 2^nd on the ultra-cool Huw Stephens’ BBC Radio show) where the band are quickly amassing an ardent following.

A brand new lyric video has been created for “Deadbolt,” andwill premiere on PureVolume.Combeginning today. The clip was directed by Bill Richards and can be viewed here
