ALL TIME LOW Announce Album Pre-Order & Headlining Tour “The Rock Show At The End Of The World”

Posted in Artist Watch, New Music, News, Releases with tags , , , , , , , on September 24, 2012 by Randy

The 4-piece pop-punk band, All Time Low, have announced their new album Don’t Panic out October 9th, 2012 on Hopeless Records available for pre-order here. Tickets for the upcoming headlining tour “The Rock Show At The End of the World” are available for purchase at www.AllTimeLow.com. Additionally, the band has revealed an album trailer with a sneak peak at a few of the songs off of Don’t Panic that you can watch here: smarturl.it/DPtrailer

With this record, a big part of the process was finding what made our band special on each of our past records,” says singer/guitarist Alex Gaskarth. “This time around, rather than taking influence from anything we were listening to at the time-or anything we want to touch on generationally-the goal was to make an album that we felt reflected the best aspects of our previous releases.

All Time Low (consisting of Gaskarth, lead guitarist Jack Barakat, bassist Zack Merrick and drummer Rian Dawson) albums’ first single For Baltimore debuted last week on AltPress.com to high praise. The track is an intricate combination of several distinct styles-spinning-top electric riffs, hard-charging chorus breakdowns and a tasteful, acoustic-driven bridge-which you can purchase on itunes here:  smarturl.it/FBitunes.”I’ve never really heard a song that Alex has written or we’ve written and not been completely stoked on it,” says Dawson. “But for some reason, these just felt more us. There was less need to force anything, less need to prove anything, less need to chase anything. It was All Time Low writing All Time Low songs.

The “The Rock Show At The End of the World” tour features The Summer Set, Downtown Fiction and Hit The Lights. On three select shows, The Early November will be performing instead of The Summer Set**. Tour kickoff starts Friday, October 12th inNew Jersey.

HATEBREED Finish Tracking New Album and Embark on “10 Years of Perseverance” Tour Joining LAMB OF GOD on Tour from October 30th to November 19th

Posted in All Metal, Artist Watch, New Music, News, Releases with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 14, 2012 by Randy

HATEBREED kicks off their  “10 Years of Perseverance” tour tonight in Clifton Park, NY with direct support from Whitechapel and special guests All Shall Perish and Deez Nuts! The U.S. headline tour was launched to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the band’s ground-breaking 2002 major-label debut, Perseverance. See below for all current tour dates.

Tickets are still available! HATEBREED is also offering an exclusive VIP Diehard Package that includes a Meet and Greet, Commemorative Diehard Laminate, Poster and more! Make sure to head over to www.hatebreed.com/VIP for all ticketing and VIP Diehard details.

HATEBREED just finished tracking their upcoming full-length album and are ready to begin the mixing process. The album is produced by the band with co-producer assistance from world-renowned metal producers Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Avenged Sevenfold) and Chris “Zeuss” Harris (Suicide Silence, All That Remains, Shadows Fall).

Guitarist Wayne Lozinak states, “I’m very excited that the album is tracked! It was a great experience working with Zeuss and Josh Wilbur on this one. Every song is heavy, straight and to the point, in keeping with the traditional HATEBREED sound. Can’t wait to put some of these songs in the set and start playing them live!”

HATEBREED bassist Chris Beattie went on to say, “This is the album that HATEBREED fans have been waiting for – catchy, ignorant and full of energy!”

THIRD ANNUAL ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK UPROAR FESTIVAL

Posted in All Metal, News, Releases with tags , , , , , , , , on August 29, 2012 by Randy

Check back Monday, September 3rd, for The Rock Tribune’s full coverage!

The third annual Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival will kick off August 17 in Kansas City, MO, criss-crossing the U.S. before wrapping September 30 in Albuquerque, NM. Please see below for the current tour dates, cities and venues.

Tickets for most shows go on sale Friday, June 15 and are affordably priced between $15 and $75 (plus fees). Go to www.RockstarUPROAR.com for full details and to purchase tickets. In addition, exclusive Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival meet & greet and VIP packages will be available.

Also, visit www.RockstarUPROAR.com/UPROARTV to see a new video clip of some of this year’s Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival bands announcing this year’s tour dates and talking about what to expect at the shows.

The Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival main stage will feature performances from multiplatinum rock bands Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind and Papa Roach, along with breaking band Adelitas Way. In addition, the Ernie Ball Stage and Jägermeister Stage in the festival area will include performances from multiplatinum headliner P.O.D., as well as up-and-coming artists Deuce, Fozzy, Redlight King, Mindset Evolution (winner of the 2011 UPROAR Battle Of The Bands), In This Moment, Thousand Foot Krutch, Candlelight Red and a local Battle Of The Bands winner.

***UPDATE***

Papa Roach has been forced to withdraw from the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival. Lead singer Jacoby Shaddix has been diagnosed with a nodule on his left vocal cord, and at the advice of his physician he will undergo corrective surgery to remove the nodule and prevent further damage.

“It’s no secret that I’ve been having issues with my voice lately. I was hoping to be able to go out there and kill it on this tour by resting and doing vocal exercises, but my voice has just gone out on me. I hate to let our fans down, but unfortunately surgery is the only way to fix it,” Shaddix said. “The last thing we want to do is give our fans less than 100% every night. We know they’ll understand and we’ll be back better than ever.”

“It was amazing having Papa Roach on the road with us for the first few UPROAR shows. We’re disappointed that they can’t continue for the rest of the tour, but Jacoby’s health is the priority and we wish him a speedy recovery,” says Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival co-producer John Oakes.

Beginning Friday, August 24, the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival main stage schedule will be adjusted to allow longer performances from Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind and Adelitas Way.
