VANS WARPED TOUR 2012 OFFICIAL TICKET PRE-SALE SET FOR MARCH 30, GENERAL ON-SALE BEGINS SATURDAY, APRIL 7

VANS WARPED TOUR® is set to launch the 18th annual nationwide tour on June 16 in Salt Lake City, UT and it will cross 41 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada, wrapping-up August 5 in Portland, OR.  Visit www.vanswarpedtour.com for dates. The tour has announced their annual kick-off party will return to downtown Los Angeles this year. The launch festivities will take place Thursday, March 29 at Club Nokia and feature live performances from an eclectic array of artists including rockers Falling In Reverse–who are already garnering major airplay from KROQ (LA)–and hip hop punk artist Matt Toka, as well as a special record release celebration and performance by Dead Sara, followed by two iconic surprise guests, to be revealed the night of the show. Kick-off party attendees will also be treated to a special screening of the documentary film titled No Room For Rockstars (from Stacy Peralta and the producers of Dogtown & Z-boys) before the party and concert begins. The live music will be kicked off by a set from Forever Came Calling, the group featured in the documentary, which will be available on iTunes April 2 and on DVD May 15. ROCK ON THE RANGE returns for its sixth year boasting a massive lineup covering the rock spectrum. America’s premier destination rock festival will be held May 18-20 at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH featuring performances from Incubus, Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Marilyn Manson, Five Finger Death Punch, Slash, Megadeth, Chevelle, Cypress Hill, Mastodon and many more.

“Incubus is stoked to be joinin’ the killer lineup at Rock On The Range this year.  We’ll see y’all in Columbus,” comments Brandon Boyd from festival co-headliner Incubus.

“If you thought last time was a blast, then this time we are gonna blow your f#@*ing mind,” says co-headliner Rob Zombie.

To get the party started and based on the success of last year’s anniversary celebration, the weekend will kick off with the Friday Night 4Play, which is absolutely FREE with every ROCK ON THE RANGE weekend ticket purchase. The May 18 party will feature performances from Hairball, Foxy Shazam, Hells Bells and more.

Monster Energy returns as one of the driving partners behind the success of ROCK ON THE RANGE as more than fifteen acts perform on the mammoth Monster Main Stage.  Jägermeister also celebrates its fifth year as a key partner while welcoming twelve of the hottest up-and-coming bands to the in-your-face, up close and personal Jägermeister Music Stage.  In all, ROCK ON THE RANGE features three stages, 44 bands, and three days of non-stop rock.

“There are so many incredible bands playing at ROTR this year, and every one of them is significant,” says Del Williams, co-executive producer of the event for Right Arm Entertainment. “I think this is the most interesting mix of bands that we have had at the festival. The Rangers already know that the weekend is going to be insanely great, but there will be surprises this year and a certain edge to the lineup that will likely create some of the most memorable moments in the 6 year history of Rock on the Range.”

ROCK ON THE RANGE 2012–marking the festival’s sixth year–is set for Friday, May 18, Saturday, May 19, and Sunday, May 20 at Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH.  The festivities will kick off with the returning ROTR Friday night party, which is absolutely FREE with every ROCK ON THE RANGE weekend ticket purchase.

Pre-sale layaway weekend tickets for America’s premier destination rock festival will go on sale in time for the holidays, available beginning Cyber Monday (November 28) at 10:00 AM (ET) through www.rockontherange.com. Weekend Field GA layaway tickets can be purchased for $134.50 and Stadium GA layaway tickets will be $99.50, plus convenience fees.  A four-ticket minimum purchase required.  Layaway tickets will be available for purchase through February 29, 2012 and regular tickets will go on sale in early 2012.

ROCK ON THE RANGE is also sponsoring a contest to name the festival’s Friday night party on their Facebook page.  The person who suggests the winning name will win a free VIP package for two for ROTR 2012 and will have the opportunity to announce one of the bands on stage Friday night.  From Monday, November 14 through November 29, fans can submit their ideas for a name for the Friday night party on the ROTR Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/#!/rockontherange) under the event tab on the left side of the page.  The ROTR producers will pick the top five names which will then be posted on the main ROTR Facebook page for “Rangers” to vote for their favorite. If the same name is submitted by multiple people, the first person who posted the name will qualify for entrance in the contest.
